Note: A qualified medical practitioner means a person who is authorized to practice in accordance to the laws of the province and certified according to the practitioner’s governing body.

- All prescription Drugs
- Diabetic supplies eg. Insulin or Substitutes
- Medical treatments

- Vitamin B12 0 for pernicious anemia
Materials and Apparatus Which are Prescribed By a Recognized Medical Practitioner
- All Health care materials and apparatus
Other Materials and Apparatus Which Don’t Require Prescriptions
- Any apparatus or material, paid to a doctor, dentist, nurse or hospital
- Any device to aid the hearing of a deaf person
- Blood sugar level measuring devices for diabetics
- Brace for a limb
- Crutches
- Prosthetics
- Wheelchairs and Lifts
Other Expenditures
- Ambulance charges
- Home Maker Services and Home Care (attendant must be non-related)
- Non-government medical or hospital care plans eg. Blue Cross
- Out of province health care
- Travel Insurance
- Transportation , meals and accommodation when local service is not available
The Following Expenditures will not be covered under this Plan
- IMPORTANT – Provincial Health Care Premiums ARE NOT eligible expenditures
- Medical expenses already covered by another existing plan
- Over the counter supplements and medicines, even if prescribed by licensed practitioner
- Gym memberships and all health programs
- Plastic Surgery to purely enhance one’s appearance
